Agents using SewaManager must conduct themselves professionally and ethically at all times. You are expected to treat all users, including landlords, tenants, and other agents, with respect and fairness.
Agents are responsible for ensuring that all property listings they post or manage are accurate, complete, and up-to-date. Misleading descriptions, false pricing, or using inaccurate images is strictly prohibited and may result in account suspension.
Agents must respect client confidentiality and protect all personal data obtained through SewaManager in accordance with the Malaysian Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA) 2010. Personal data must not be shared with third parties without explicit consent, except as required for the execution of a tenancy agreement or by law.
SewaManager strictly prohibits illegal discrimination. Agents must not discriminate against any prospective tenant based on race, religion, gender, nationality, or any other protected characteristic under applicable laws.
Agents operating in Malaysia are expected to comply with all rules and guidelines set forth by the Board of Valuers, Appraisers, Estate Agents and Property Managers (BOVAEP). If you represent yourself as a registered real estate agent (REA) or negotiator (REN), you must provide your valid registration number upon request and ensure it is displayed accurately on your profile.
